AI (generative artificial intelligence) is built into many of the apps, games and services we use that can bring new risks, especially for children and young people. 🏃‍♂️ Outstanding Achievement at the 2026 Australian Athletics Junior Championships! 🏃‍♂️ A huge congratulations to Cruz, who competed in Brisbane against the best athletes in Australia in the U15 Boys division—while still only 13 years old! 🌟 Results: 🥈 Silver – 400m U15 Boys (NEW PB!) 🥇 Gold – 4x200m Relay U16 Boys (running up an age group!) 🏅 7th Place – 200m U15 Boys (NEW PB!) Cruz also achieved a national qualifying time in the 100m but chose to focus on the 400m and 200m—an outstanding display of commitment and maturity. He was especially proud to be selected for the relay team, contributing to a gold medal performance! 👏 We are incredibly proud of Cruz’s dedication, determination, and sportsmanship. Congratulations to Cheska, Aaryan, and Simran on their recent Graduation from the ACU Step Up Program in Nursing and Criminology. They worked diligently during their school holidays, while juggling Year 12 study commitments, to complete two university level subjects. Their commitment, perseverance and hard work have earned them guaranteed entry to ACU upon completion of the HSC. You should be incredibly proud of what you have achieved.

Students in Arrunga have been diving into the world of Visual Arts in creative and meaningful ways 🎨✨ By connecting art with mathematics, they have explored colour through patterns and are now experimenting with shapes using a range of different materials. Over the past few lessons, students have been creating their own pixelated artworks by placing colours and shapes to bring their designs to life. Take a look at some of their finished pieces!

On Saturday evening, Year 12 students and staff joined the Vinnies Van outreach, supporting people across Mount Druitt and Parramatta. From making sandwiches and loading the van to handing out food and drinks, our students put faith into action—showing care, teamwork and respect. We’re so proud of Nate W, Kija P, Mia K, Kavya S, Angelina F and Crystel A for volunteering their time, starting conversations and connecting with those they met.
