We are thrilled to announce a fantastic new addition coming to the Library next year, made possible entirely by our students! As part of a Life Design project, a group of students identified a need to improve resources at the College. They pitched a solution, and we are proud to turn their vision into reality. Starting next year, student printing will be available in the Library for all students in Years 7-12. Here is how it works: • 📇 Every student (Years 7-12) will receive a $50 credit loaded onto their student card. • 📚 Printing stations will be accessible directly in the Library. • ✅ This initiative is a direct result of students using Life Design to bring positive change to our school community. Congratulations to our 2025 ACU Step Up graduates! Through this program, students completed first-year university subjects in Nursing and Midwifery, Exercise and Sport Science, and Criminology, giving them a head start, earning credit toward a future degree, and leading to early offers into university. Two students took part in the Step Up into Teaching pathway. By completing two university-level subjects during the holidays, they earned credit toward a future degree and received an early offer into a Bachelor of Education at ACU. We’re proud of the commitment shown by these students and the strong foundation they are building for their future! #Classof2025

🎓 Congratulations to our 2025 Academy U Graduates! 🎓 St Luke’s Catholic College was one of fifteen schools selected to participate in the Academy U Program. Each year, ten high-potential students from our school take part, getting a head start on their university journey while still at school. Through on-campus challenges, learning modules, masterclasses, and consultations, students develop leadership, critical thinking, and practical skills. This not only builds confidence but gives them an understanding of university life while preparing them for the future. Our 2025 graduates have shown incredible dedication, completing a first-year university subject in Leadership in Complexity, earning credit points toward a future degree. They also received early offers into Western Sydney University and the chance to apply for academic scholarships. We’re very proud of our 2025 graduates and can’t wait to see the difference they’ll make in the world!

Please be advised of the following return to school dates for 2026. On Monday 2nd February students form Year 1, Year 2, Year 3, Year 4, Year 5, Year 7, Year 9, Year 11 and Year 12 return to school. On Tuesday 3rd February students from Year 6, Year 8 and Year 10 return to school. PLEASE NOTE: Kindergarten students begin school with half days on Tuesday 3rd February and Wednesday 4th February. On Thursday 5th February Kindergarten students commence full days.

Our School of Foundations students have shown such generous and compassionate hearts this Advent season. Through handwritten messages and Christmas cards, they reached out to patients and hospital staff at Blacktown and Mount Druitt Hospitals, sharing hope, kindness and gratitude. These simple yet powerful gestures reflect the spirit of Jesus alive in our hearts — reminding us that love, care and compassion can make a real difference in the lives of others, especially at this time of year. 💛🎄
